Through fundraising, we work to extend our services to students in low-income Catholic schools, so preparation isn’t limited by a family’s means.
What every PEACE course is built on.
Curriculum review
A comprehensive review of the math, reading, and language arts on the HSPT, including verbal and quantitative skills — reaching back to concepts from earlier grades that students may not have practiced recently.
Test-specific preparation
Students practice real HSPT question formats in every class and work under the test’s timing conditions, finishing with a full mock exam on the last day.
Confidence & faith
Every session includes confidence-building and encouragement: goal-setting, self-assessment of strengths and growth areas, journaling, and prayer.

Patti Smith
Patti spent seven years as an Admissions Officer at Loyola Academy, working closely with prospective students and families and gaining deep knowledge of the Catholic high school admissions process. Her earlier career spans finance and nonprofit leadership, and she serves on the school board of St. Ann’s School in Pilsen. She is a cum laude graduate of the University of Notre Dame.
Rita Kendrick
Rita is an experienced instructional coach working with Loyola University’s Greeley Center for Education. She has spent her career in Catholic education.
Mike Kendrick
Mike is a former Catholic school Principal and knows what it takes to help students prepare for high school and beyond. Mike Currently serves as a Senior Advisor for Catholic schools across North America.
